From indicator stacking to level-first entries
Background: Chris, a part-time trader on UK large caps, booked the Advanced Chart Review Intensive after two years of mixing MACD crosses with arbitrary trend lines.
Session focus: Day one covered weekly and daily level grading on his watchlist of eight stocks. Day two paired RSI(14) readings with those levels only — no new indicators introduced.
Outcome: Chris reported fewer trades per month but wider average reward-to-risk on retests at daily support. He noted the process felt slower at first and required a printed checklist he still uses six months later.
Reservation: He felt the group size of seven was right for discussion but wanted a follow-up session solely on position sizing, which we addressed in a later mentorship call.
